Aino Health co-founds the corporate healthcare company Maresan Oy
Aino Health AB (publ) subsidiary in Finland is the co founder of corporate healthcare company Maresan Oy, together with several large shipping business partners. The main purpose of the new company will be to work preventive and improve the health and wellbeing of sailor employees. During the first quarter of 2018, at least 3000 sailors will be included in Maresan Oy’s digital services of corporate health management.
The founding of the corporate healthcare company Maresan Oy, is the beginning of a new business model for digital healthcare, that will focus on the wellbeing of sailor employees. The company will use Aino Health’s services, starting from the first quarter of 2018.
The owners of the new company is the Finnish Sailor Pension Fund (36,36%), Aino Health Management Oy (36,36%), Viking Line ABP (9,09%), the Sailor Union of Finland (9,09%) and the Ship Officer Association of Finland (9,09%). The total investment by these owners is 550 000 EUR and each investment is in proportion to their shares of the company. Aino Health Management Oy will invest 200 000 EUR.
We can see a great demand for our preventive corporate health solutions, specifically for sailors. Maresan Oy is a great possibility for us and our dedicated business partners, such as the union and the pension fund for sailors, to create the right health conditions for each individual. It is important to identify and fix the underlying causes.
